Arteco has a long tradition and expertise in the coolants industry through its parent companies.

Arteco is a joint venture company of Chevron and Total created in 1998. Both parent companies have combined their strengths in corrosion inhibition technology and manufacturing and declared their long-term commitment to this business. Arteco now represents Chevron and Total in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa for the development, production and marketing of engine coolants, heat transfer fluids and corrosion inhibitors for a wide range of industries.

Since its creation, Arteco has experienced continuous growth to achieve a volume of more than 130,000 tonnes of coolants, with revenues exceeding €140 million in 2015.
