Electric Vehicles or EVs, is a term widely used to describe vehicles that are powered, fully or partially, by alternative energy sources instead of traditional fossil fuels. EVs play a key role in the transition toward more sustainable and low-emission mobility. 

At Arteco we have developed advanced coolants tailored specifically to meet the distinctive thermal management requirements of these EVs, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Our coolants feature the right additive packages that safeguards battery cooling plates, power electronic heat sinks in both fully electric and hybrid vehicles.

Additionally, China is significantly influencing the technology and pace of this shift, with various specifications issued by the Research Institute on Highway (RIOH) under the Ministry of Transport, creating mandatory legal standards for coolants in EVs and impacting global technology shifts.

We closely monitor this evolution and benefit from our global presence and participation in industry associations to maintain a comprehensive overview of the coolants market. Our product range includes diverse solutions for various applications, approved by several key OEMs, and meets major industry specifications, like GB 29743.2-2025 for BEV vehicles. Also, for FCEVs we are active in China and US within related working groups looking into the draft creation of GB 29743.3.

A MEG-based coolant using P-OAT, developed for passenger car applications requiring long-life, silicate-free corrosion protection, meeting a diversity of OEMs specifications.

FREECOR EV Milli 10

A reduced electrical conductive MEG-based coolant, suited for indirect battery cooling in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) in systems where e-conductivity needs to be reduced, meeting GB 29743.2 and ASTM D8566 standards. Only for vehicles that are designed to handle low e-conductive fluids as specifically developed for high safety requirements of indirect battery cooling loop.

A low conductive MEG-based coolant with non-ionic additive technology. Designed for fuel cell direct cooling. e-Conductivity of this readymix (FP-35°C): <5 µS/cm

FREECOR XLC-PG

A MPG-based coolant formulated with OAT, offering low toxicity and extended life performance. It is developed for use in automotive, heavy-duty and stationary engine applications.

FREECOR BQC

A MEG-based cost-effective universal coolant concentrate passing the French and British national standards.

FREECOR AQI

A superconcentrated aqueous corrosion inhibitor based on OAT, developed for use in a wide range of drivetrains as a cost-effective, versatile coolant additive.

FREECOR JNC

A MEG-based coolant using P-OAT, developed for use in Japanese, Indian and Korean passenger cars as it meets industry and OEM specifications.
