As Arteco is ramping up its sustainability efforts throughout the years we have been participating in the VOKA charter sustainable entepreneurship (VCDO – Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen).
As icing on the cake we have been awarded the SDG Champion certificate (SDG = Sustainable Development Goals) on October 25th, 2022, an important recognition of our work. This achievement was related to all our sustainability efforts and our work on the SDGs in general, and more specifically to our project to future proof our process water. By switching from municipal drinking water to surface water, we will reduce our impact on municipal water treatment and the water grid.
A lot of work is still to be done and the challenges are manifold, but from time to time it is good to just look back at what has been accomplished so far.
