Use of Terms

In this privacy policy, the terms “Arteco”, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Arteco NV, with registered office at Metropoolstraat 25, B-2900 Schoten, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0463.801.936  (RPR Antwerp, division Antwerp).

The terms "you", "your", and "user" refer to any natural person whose personal data we process through the use of our websites or services.

The term “data protection law(s)” means the regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (OJ L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1-88, as may subsequently be amended) (“GDPR”), and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 on the projection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (Belgian Official Journal of 5 September 2018, as may subsequently be amended).

Arteco is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains the steps we take to protect your personal data when you visit our websites. By accessing our websites, you consent to the data collection and use practices described in this privacy policy.

In most instances, you can visit our websites without providing any personal data. However, on some pages, we may ask you for personal data to provide a service requested by you. The personal data that we collect may include:

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time

  • Right not to be subject to Automated Decision-Making: You can request not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

Except as described below, personal data that you provide to Arteco via our websites will not be shared outside Arteco without your consent.

Arteco is committed to protecting the security of your personal data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal data you provide on computer systems with limited access that are located in facilities to which access is limited.
For sites to which you login, it is your responsibility to ensure the security of your password and not to reveal this information to others. If you are sharing a computer with anyone, you should always logout before leaving a website so that subsequent users will not be able to access your data.

8. Reviewing Your Personal Data

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing and request data portability.
