N-OAT
A nitrite- containing organic additive technology (OAT) coolant that includes organic corrosion inhibitors such as carboxylates and triazole along with nitrite as mineral inhibitor.
The carboxylate inhibitors used in OAT coolants have very low depletion rates. A molecular layer of inhibitors is formed on the metal surface only at the anodic sites where corrosion risks to start. To enhance the protection against cavitation in severe duty wet liner applications (nitrite or a combination of nitrite and molybdate) is added to the high-performance OAT.
