Via the mass balance approach, we can gradually increase the share of bio-based and/or recycled materials in our production process without altering the existing infrastructure.
Mass balance is a chain of custody option in which certified and non-certified materials are physically mixed throughout the value chain but kept separate through verifiable bookkeeping.

Discover our ECO coolants
Arteco’s ECO coolants incorporate base fluids derived from renewable and/or recycled feedstocks, allocated through a ISCC PLUS certified mass balance approach. This approach enables us to gradually increase the share of bio-based and/or recycled materials in our production process without altering the existing infrastructure. As a result, Arteco’s ECO products have a reduced product carbon footprint (PCF) compared to their conventional virgin fossil counterparts.
