Corrosion Inhibitor BSB-S is a cost-effective, fully organic aqueous superconcentrate desveloped to formulate coolants that deliver dependable frost and corrosion protection. Compatible with both monoethylene glycol (MEG) and monopropylene glycol (MPG), it is free from nitrites, phosphates, silicates, borates, and 2-ethylhexanoic acid, making it not only environmentally safer but also suitable for consumer applications.
The product is highly efficient, requiring only 6% dosage in glycol to provide year-round protection. It also performs well in hard water, is seal-compatible and offers excellent miscibility. For systems where freeze protection is not needed, BSB-S can be used in water at just 3% concentration, offering a simple and economical corrosion protection solution.
Coolants formulated with BSB-S meet BS 6580:2010 when blended according to recommended formulations. This certification, along with strong performance in corrosion and thermal stability tests, confirm its reliability for a wide range of automotive cooling systems.
