Freecor® BMC is a monoethylene glycol (MEG)-based coolant using silicate-organic additive technology (Si-OAT) in combination with phosphate, developed for heavy duty and passenger car applications requiring long-life corrosion protection.

A premium all-round Si-OAT coolant. This coolant is suitable for both passenger cars and heavy-duty applications from German original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It is particularly suitable for systems with complex aluminium heat exchangers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability due to its flux compensation package.

Freecor® BMC is a high-performance monoethylene glycol-based coolant that combines silicate and phosphate inhibitors with a robust organic additive backbone (Si-OAT). This advanced formulation ensures long-lasting corrosion protection and thermal oxidative stability, making it suitable for both internal combustion engines and battery electric vehicles.
A key advantage of Freecor® BMC is its improved compatibility with Controlled Atmosphere Brazing (CAB) systems. Its formulation is designed to work effectively in the presence of flux residues, helping to prevent corrosion and maintain the integrity of aluminium components commonly used in modern heat exchangers.
The coolant offers excellent hard water stability and aluminium passivation, reducing the risk of scale formation and material degradation. These properties support extended drain intervals and reduce the need for frequent maintenance, contributing to lower operational costs and improved system reliability.
Freecor® BMC is free from nitrites, borates and 2-ethylhexanoic acid, aligning with modern environmental and health standards. It meets major international standards such as ASTM D3306, JIS K2234:2018, and BS 6580:2010 and is recommended for a wide range of OEMs including BMW, VW, Ford, Toyota, Volvo Cars, MAN and Cummins. This makes it a reliable, safe solution for both factory fill and service applications across global markets.
