FREECOR BQC
Freecor® BQC is a monoethylene glycol (MEG)-based coolant formulated with organic additive technology (OAT), designed for passenger cars.
About the product
A highly economical OAT coolant for passenger cars meeting British and French standards (BS 6580; AFNOR NFR 15-601).
Key benefits
Efficient organic protection
Freecor® BQC is a MEG-based coolant formulated with organic additive technology (OAT). It provides reliable year-round protection against frost and corrosion, making it a highly economical solution for a wide range of engine cooling systems.
Stable and clean performance
The product offers excellent heat transfer and hard water stability. Its compatibility with other monoethylene glycol-based coolants adds flexibility, although exclusive use is recommended for optimal performance.
Compliant and OEM approved
Freecor® BQC is free from 2-ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA), nitrites and borates, reducing its toxic impact and aligning with modern safety expectations. A water-based, non-classified superconcentrate version (Freecor® AQI) is also available for applications requiring no freezing protection and corresponding has lower toxicity.
The coolant complies with key standards such as BS 6580:2010 and NF R15-601, and its ready to use meets the requirements of ASTM D3306-20 Type III (at 51.8 vol% dilution), CUNA NC 956-16 and UNE 26-361-88/1. This ensures its suitability for international applications across automotive and industrial sectors.
Discover our ECO coolants
Our ECO coolants incorporate base fluids derived from bio-based or recycled raw materials, allocated through a certified mass balance approach. This approach enables the integration of sustainable raw materials into existing production systems while ensuring full traceability and third-party certification across the supply chain.
All our coolants are available as ECO coolants.
