About the product

A premium P-OAT coolant. This coolant is specifically developed for passenger cars from French, Japanese, Korean and US OEMs. It has an outstanding hard water stabilization allowing phosphate to act as excellent aluminium corrosion protecting agent. Thanks to its flux compensation package, it is particularly suitable for flux brazed aluminium heat exchangers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key benefits

Freecor® LPC is a monoethylene glycol (MEG)-based coolant formulated with phosphate-organic additive technology (P-OAT). This modern chemistry ensures robust corrosion protection for all engine cooling system metals, including aluminium and ferrous alloys, throughout their lifecycle.

The coolant is engineered to address flux contamination from aluminium heat exchanger manufacturing by incorporating a neutralisation package that prevents gel or deposit formation. It also demonstrates excellent hard water stability, avoiding the formation of insoluble deposits that could impair system performance.

Its unique inhibitor package is designed to neutralize the negative effects of flux residues from Controlled Atmosphere Brazing (CAB), a common process in aluminium heat exchangers. This flux compensation package enhances material compatibility and long-term system reliability.

Freecor® LPC features a matrix of hard water stabilisers and sequestrants, delivering excellent stability even in challenging water conditions. This prevents scale formation and ensures consistent performance across diverse operating environments.

Freecor® LPC is free from nitrites, borates and 2-ethylhexanoic acid. The coolant meets major international standards such as ASTM D3306, ASTM D6210, and JIS K2234:2018, and is approved for several OEM specifications including Mercedes-Benz 325.7 and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi RNES-B-00014 v2.1. It is particularly recommended for Japanese and Korean vehicles, making it a reliable, long-life solution for both automotive and heavy-duty applications.

Discover our ECO coolants

Our ECO coolants incorporate base fluids derived from bio-based or recycled raw materials, allocated through a certified mass balance approach. This approach enables the integration of sustainable raw materials into existing production systems while ensuring full traceability and third-party certification across the supply chain.

All our coolants are available as ECO coolants.
