About the product

A versatile OAT coolant suited for passenger cars and heavy duty applications on road and stationary engines. This coolant contains a well-established combination of organic additive technology (OAT) for corrosion protection of all common metal and alloys in cooling systems. Additionally, it benefits from improved pH stabilization through an organic buffer system.

Freecor® XLC is an organic additive technology (OAT) coolant that enables extended service intervals with minimal maintenance in both automotive and heavy duty applications. Freecor® XLC is formulated without 2-EHA, nitrites or borates, which makes it suitable for professional and consumer use and as a direct replacement for Havoline® XLC.

It maintains high oxidation and pH stability under elevated temperatures, ensuring long-term protection of engine components. Freecor® XLC also provides superior corrosion resistance, particularly for aluminium heat transfer surfaces in modern engines.

Freecor® XLC meets a broad range of international standards, including ASTM D3306-20, BS 6580.2010, NF R15-601-20, GB 27943.1-2022 and others.
