Freezium™ is a secondary coolant developed specifically for use in indirect cooling systems and heat pumps, based on a solution of potassium formate (HCOOK) - an organic salt.

Freezium™has been developed specifically for indirect cooling systems and heat pumps. Freezium™ provides protection against freezing and corrosion.
All heat exchange and other facilities where Freezium™ will be used must be designed, built, cleaned and taken into use by professional personnel specialized in the application. It is also important that the secondary refrigerant is non-flammable and compatible with common engineering materials. The product is designed to give good corrosion protection for transporting cold and is using low pumping energy thanks to its low viscosity at reduced temperatures.
