Arteco expands Freecor EV Milli Range for Battery Electric Vehicles
Arteco expands Freecor® EV Milli range with two new patented low-electrical-conductivity coolants (LECC) for Battery Electric Vehicles
Freecor® EV Milli 20 (Si-OAT) and Freecor® EV Milli 30 (P-OAT) complete the range alongside the existing Freecor® EV Milli 10 — three low electrical-conductivity solutions with patented organic additive technology (OAT), fully compliant with the Chinese national standard GB 29743.2 and meeting the ASTM D8566 standard, ensuring controlled electrical conductivity for safe operation in indirect New Energy Vehicle (NEV) cooling systems.
Arteco, a global leader in coolant technology, is introducing two new products to its Freecor® EV Milli line: Freecor® EV Milli 20 and Freecor® EV Milli 30. These patented monoethylene glycol (MEG)-based coolants join the existing Freecor® EV Milli 10 to form a complete range of three specialised low electrical conductivity (<100 μS/cm) cooling liquids for the indirect cooling of battery packs, electric motors, and power electronics in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).
When safety standards demand more from your BEV coolant, whether driven by regulation, market requirements, or your own engineering specifications, the Freecor® EV Milli range is the answer. Each of the three products is built on a unique inhibitor technology, giving partners and vehicle manufacturers the flexibility to select the optimal formulation for their specific cooling system architecture.
Electrical Safety as the Starting Point
All three products achieve an electrical conductivity of less than 100 μS/cm, fully compliant with GB 29743.2 and ASTM D8566 — the leading international benchmarks for low-conductivity coolants in electric vehicles.
Three Technologies, One Range
The Freecor® EV Milli range comprises three products, each built on a distinct inhibitor technology: OAT, Si-OAT and P-OAT. This allows partners and vehicle manufacturers to select the formulation best suited to their cooling system architecture.
Arteco’s Low Electrical Conductivity Coolants range consists of:
-
FREECOR® EV Milli 10 – OAT technology
-
FREECOR® EV Milli 20 – Si‑OAT technology (new)
-
FREECOR® EV Milli 30 – P‑OAT technology (new)
What FREECOR® EV Milli brings to every Battery Electric Vehicle coolant
- Longer battery life and faster charging
Excellent thermal performance maximises battery lifetime while supporting faster charging cycles, improving energy efficiency and ensuring efficient temperature regulationn. - Improved electrical safety
With low electrical conductivity (<100μS/cm), FREECOR® EV Milli reduces the risk of electrical short circuits in the event of accidental leakages in high-voltage systems. - Flux stabilization
A dedicated brazing flux compensation package limits the negative effects of brazing residue from brazed aluminium components resulting in increasing protection of battery bottom plates and aluminium heat exchangers. - Long-life corrosion protection
Organic backbone technology delivers long-lasting corrosion protection, preventing material degradation and optimising total cost of ownership.
Available as an ECO Coolant
All our glycol based coolants, including Freecor® EV Milli, are available as ECO coolants.
Our ECO coolants incorporate base fluids linked to bio-based or recycled raw materials, allocated through a certified mass balance approach. This approach enables the integration of alternative raw materials into existing production systems while ensuring full traceability and third-party certification across the supply chain.
Availability and Further Information
Freecor® EV Milli 20 and Freecor® EV Milli 30 are now available through the Arteco distribution network. Technical data sheets (TDS) and safety data sheets (SDS) are available on request or via the Arteco website.
